OneValley is proud to announce a new partnership with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Louisiana Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (LEED) Center. This collaboration aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Louisiana, providing innovative solutions to foster economic growth and development.
The LEED Center is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship and innovation throughout the state of Louisiana. By focusing on underserved, rural, and minority populations, the LEED Center's mission is to strengthen and diversify the economy through innovative entrepreneurship and economic development programming.
Challenges Faced by LEED Center
Before partnering with OneValley, the LEED Center utilized a variety of tools that served their initial needs. However, as their entrepreneurial initiatives expanded, they recognized the opportunity to enhance their operations with a more tailored solution that could better support the dynamic and growing needs of their programs.
How PassportOS Supports LEED Center
OneValley's PassportOS provides a comprehensive solution that integrates various functions of the LEED Center, allowing for seamless management of their programs and resources. By using the Community and Program modules of PassportOS, the LEED Center can now:
- Centralize Operations: Streamline processes and communication by having all necessary tools and resources in one place.
- Leverage Global Resources: Provide users access to OneValley's extensive library of startup resources, courses, and more, to support entrepreneurs across Louisiana.
- Manage Programs Efficiently: Support their accelerator program and other initiatives with ease, ensuring a smooth and successful rollout of upcoming projects.
The LEED Center serves the entire state of Louisiana, providing technical assistance and support to businesses and economic development agencies, entrepreneurs (students, faculty and within communities), rural and underserved minority populations that are not connected to economic development resources and regional commercialization efforts.
Looking Forward
The partnership with the LEED Center is part of a multi-year contract, reflecting a long-term commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and economic growth in Louisiana. The collaboration has also been supported through a University Center Grant sponsored by EDA.
"We are thrilled to partner with the LEED Center and support their mission to build a stronger Louisiana," said Sarina El, BD and Partnership Manager at OneValley. "PassportOS is designed to empower innovation and entrepreneurship, and we look forward to contributing to the success of the LEED Center's initiatives."
